Refund Policy for The Tail Wise Library

At The Tail Wise Library, we provide specialized digital promotional services, including Advance Reader Copy (ARC) campaigns designed to connect authors with dedicated book communities. Because our products are intangible, digital marketing services, please review our terms regarding campaign execution, delivery, and refunds below.

1. General Policy on Digital Services

• Finality of Digital Campaigns: Due to the immediate allocation of resources, marketing efforts, and reader outreach involved in digital promotions, all package purchases are generally non-refundable once the campaign execution has begun or been successfully fulfilled.

• Scope of Service: Our contractual obligation is fulfilled once we actively promote your title to our network and achieve the minimum agreed-upon review quantity specified in your chosen package tier.

• Editorial Independence: Reviewers operate independently. We do not dictate the opinions, ratings, wording, or tone of reviews. Consequently, dissatisfaction with a reviewer's specific rating or feedback does not qualify an order for a refund.

2. Campaign Completion & Acceptance Window

• Completion Milestone: A campaign is officially marked as complete the moment the minimum review threshold is met.

• Review Period (Tacit Acceptance): Clients are given a 5-day window following campaign completion to report any technical delivery issues or fulfillment discrepancies. If no report is made during this period, the service is considered formally accepted by the customer, and the transaction becomes permanently non-refundable.

3. Retailer Moderation & Platform Policy Disclaimer

Retail platforms (such as Amazon) independently manage, filter, or moderate reviews according to their own dynamic internal standards.

• We hold no operational control over third-party retailer algorithms or moderation teams.

• The removal, suppression, or filtering of reviews by a retailer after campaign fulfillment does not mean the service was unfulfilled.

• If a client’s book is restricted, blocked, or penalized by a retail platform, our fees remain non-refundable, as our promotional campaigns are structured to align with standard publishing guidelines.

4. Exceptional Circumstances & Replacements

We evaluate exceptional situations on a case-by-case basis under strict guidelines:

• Severe Review Drops: If more than two-thirds (2/3) of the total delivered reviews are removed by a platform within a strict 30-day window immediately following campaign completion, authors may contact our support desk.

• Resolution Approach: Rather than a direct monetary refund, qualifying accounts within this exceptional window will typically be offered a corrective promotional extension or replacement cycle to help stabilize the campaign target. Removals occurring after the 30-day window are ineligible for adjustments.

5. European Union Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

For consumers residing in the European Union, EU regulations typically provide a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

• Application to Digital Services: By proceeding with your purchase and consenting to the immediate commencement of your promotional campaign, you acknowledge that performance of the digital service has begun and that you explicitly waive your right of withdrawal once the campaign delivery process has been fully executed.

6. Refund Processing Timeframes

If an extraordinary refund is explicitly approved by our management team:

• The refund will be routed back to your original payment method.

• Processing typically takes up to 10 business days to clear through financial institutions.

• Should your credit or banking institution experience delays, please allow up to 15 business days before reaching out to us.
